Cafe Lift May Open Mic + Canvas

Join us on Thursday 5/6 for a night of awesome live music and art at Cafe Lift’s May Open Mic & Canvas night! We are finally back IN-PERSON this month! Come play music, read poetry, perform spoken word, and paint on our open canvas! Or just kick back with us and enjoy free coffee and tea!

In order to ensure your safety and to comply with Covid-19 guidelines, this month’s event will be held outdoors on the cafe patio area. Please also adhere to the following safety measures:

  1. Please wear a mask at all times unless you are performing.
  2. While you are performing, you may remove your mask.
  3. Please maintain a social distance of 6 feet.

Get ahead of the crowd! Sign up for performance slots in advance online! Artists who sign up online will have the opportunity to have their social media and upcoming shows promoted at Cafe Lift. See below for the online sign up form. Don’t worry if the list is full, we keep some performance slots open for walk-ins!

If you’re planning on performing, be sure to sign up online or get here early before the list fills up! Doors open at 7:45PM. Performance slots are 10 minutes long and 2 songs maximum.

Cafe Lift is an open mic and canvas held every 1st Thursday of the month in South San Jose. Our goal is to connect the music, art, and coffee community by offering an uplifting and friendly environmentCafe Lift is a safe space for expression, so please be respectful to all performers and guests. We are an outreach ministry of Gateway City Church that aims to see love transform lives by creating friendships, cultivating talent, and building up believers.
